The Muhlenberg Film Association was founded during the dark autumn months of 2005. Operating underground, the MFA held its first film festival- the Quick and Dirty- that November. The following semester saw the inception of the weekly film challenge and creation of some kind of organizational hierarchy. Formally recognized as a Muhlenberg organization (with access to college funds) in February of 2006, the MFA has since continued its tradition of creating new and unique opportunities for students. Most recently, the MFA has been writing, directing, and shooting the student-created film Sick. The fourth bi-annual Quick and Dirty was held on April 22, 2008.
