Hey guys,

Katie did an awesome job of jotting down what we talked about during the meeting, which proved to be really productive by the way. Please read all the way through and post ideas on the MFA discussion board!!
I’m going to start a timeline of events we can use to build our clips around. Please come to the next meeting with an example of reporting you’d like to parody/adapt for our purposes!! Also, add events to the timeline!

Hey guys,

since we just got back from break, I feel like we don’t necessarily need to meet this week….does anyone oppose this? Let me know, and we can meet!!

If no one opposses, let’s meet at 6pm in CA 149 or 155 next Tuesday…or by the vending machines haha, whatever is available.

This weeks challenge theme–CATS! run wild with it people.

Things to think about until next meeting—
-Quick ‘N Dirty projects
-Zombie scene ideas….we need to get movin’ people! Jot down any ideas you have. I’ll probably write up at least a detailed walk thru of one or two scenes tomorrow during my box office shift and post it in our facebook group..I can’t do this alone though, so pleassssse post away in our discussion board. Perhaps I’ll make Tuesday a deadline for anyone who agreed to do certain scenes in our writers meeting—a detailed walkthru is my minimum requirement. We just need to get stuff down in writing.

I went to the Student Council dinner to find out about what they are doing for clubs this year. They are offering a website a lot like blackboard, but we can handle funds on it as well as other things! It looks amazing. I’m going to find out more about their funding to new clubs also and I’ll let you know what happens.

Coppa and McEwan! Feel free to relay on any info you want the group to have since we probably won’t be meeting this week.

Hey guys,

Okay so tomorrow we are meeting again in the CA…let’s go down to the vending machines again and maybe infiltrate room 149. Whoever is there first see if that roomis empty and if it is just claim it! I’ll be coming a few minutes late because my box office shift ends at 6 and I have to do paper work…but hopefully I won’t be there much later than 6:15!

Dr. Coppa should be meeting with us again, and this time with flyers for Quick N’ Dirty and course descriptions for next fall!!
Those of you who recieve this email straight from me (not the blackboard version) please reply back to me. I need your last names so we can add you to the black board mailing list so I don’t have to do this double email thing.

Things to do/discuss tomorrow:
–Scene ideas for zombie film…perhaps we’ll sit down in small groups and create scene specific plot ideas
–Shirt slogans
–Watch villainry/music video submissions!

I’m prolly forgetting some stuff but come ready to create some scenes!!

Also..you guys can make profiles on www.imeem.com and friend the MFA if you like. Just throwing it out there.

Hey guys,

find me on facebook, friend me if you haven’t already, and then browse the clubs for Muhlenberg Film Association. I just made us a club on facebook so we can correspond about projects and zombie scene ideas.

Our plot session was pretty good. I’ll post what we came up with on the facebook group and you guys can comment and throw in suggestions!

Next meeting will be Tuesday around 6:15pm, possibly in CA 149?? we’ll see how that pans out. If it’s not open we’ll congragate by the vending machines again.

Let’s make shirts! We’ll take a vote next time for shirts that say either “We like to watch,” or “We do it on camara.” Love it.

i feel like I’m forgetting something…mmm MAKE A VILLAINRY FILM!!!

Hey Guys,

Last night’s meeting was great! We might stick to that time, Tuesdays around 6:15pm so Coppa can attend! So for right now, plan on that time slot for next week.

This weeks challenge is VILLAINS or VILLAINRY!!! Be creative. Or just silly.

So, we have a new treasurer, thanks Marina!! Katie also stepped up to be our new seccretary, which is super! Until we get this email system totally figured out I’ll continue to send out emails.

Quick N’ Dirty—We’re looking for the festival to be sometime right before Thanksgiving break, the exact date will be announced shortly, but basically that means you guys have about a month and a half to prepare ANYTHING since we decided to leave this festival open as far as the theme. Like Melinda said, maybe the festival will have a theme and the movies will be irrelevant. haha.

Those of you who want a quick demo on a camcorder–Melinda is willing to show you the features on her camara, and while the media services camaras are slightly different, they will be easy to figure out if you familiarize yourself with any kind sort of similar. I know Marina and Katie wanted a demo…anyone else? This will take place Friday afternoon sometime.

OR

You guys can help Melinda make a villainry film for our current challenge. That way you guys can learn how to use a camara, WHILE submitting a project with all your names attached. Please reply back and let me know what you guys would rather do, and if you want to help Melinda we’ll set it up!

Erika…don’t forget to call me around 3pm Friday afternoon to burn your disc.

We jotted down some shirt ideas…”We like to watch,” “We do it on camara,” “We do it in the dark.” Perhaps next meeting we’ll take a vote and decide which we like best to make shirts?

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE FIRST WRITING SESSION WILL BE TODAY AT 5PM. Meet me in Seeger’s lobby, and maybe we’ll grab some food before brainstorming.
